About the Norfolk Brewery
n 2021 Ampersand Brew Co moved from the family farm to a new 7,000 sq ft site further up the Waveney Valley in Diss. This new site has the space to allow the brewery to grow and meet demand and has been carefully designed to make future expansions as effortless as possible.
The brewing space at Sawmills road is large enough to allow us to continue to grow to meet demand for our beer. Housing our 10HL brew kit alongside 100HL of fermentation volume and our modern top of the range canning line the setup is designed to ensure the high quality of our beers is maintained. With the brewery from day one always storing 100% of our beers cold we have installed a bespoke 1,000 sq ft cold storage unit as further commitment to focussing on quality.
The brewery at Sawmills Road sits in South Norfolk under 1 mile away from Suffolk, and we consider ourselves a Waveney Valley brewery. Running along the border between Norfolk and Suffolk, the Waveney Valley is a unique place off the beaten track, and as well as numerous unspoilt villages it also covers vibrant market towns such as Beccles, Bungay, Harleston and Diss.
This is a super exciting space for the business as we continue our growth as one of the region’s top craft breweries and we look forward to welcoming you to the brewery.
